About
digitalloco is a personal hobby project by Phil Claridge: hardware and firmware for digital model railways, starting with a DCC command station and track detectors. It is not a commercial site, and nothing here is for sale.
Who
Software architect emeritus – retired, so the boxes and arrows are now drawn for fun rather than for a living. Chief drawer of boxes and arrows. System whisperer. Also, when needed, blueprint-and-soldering-iron man.
Model railway electronics is a busman’s holiday: firmware, protocols and an oscilloscope on the bench, the same tools as the day job, only now the customer is a model locomotive.
